If you can't see add-on aircraft in CFS2 list, here is a solution. | ||
There
is a problem, when you are trying to install add-on plane into CFS2. Your
new plane doesn't appear in the list, when you want to select it. The reason
is, that the game can't find some associated files - mainly the sound and
panel. Many add-on aircraft use these files from default Flight Simulator
planes and also from FS converter files.
These necessary files are in FS98 ( if you have installed FS converter ). In FS2000 and CFS1 are these files by default. Why aren't these files also in CFS2? Don't ask me, I don'know, ask Microsoft ... :-) .
So, you can fix this problem quite easily, if you have FS98, CFS or FS2000.
to ..\CFS2\aircratf folder :
.
If you haven't FS98, CFS or FS2000, you have 3 choices:
just delete these files: panel.cfg and sound.cfg You will find them here: ...CFS2\Aircraft\your plane\panel
As a source I can recomend you e.g |
