First I would like to tell
you some general notes. In Network
Theatres No.1 I modified original F18 Korea textures.
Some of them were mixed with parts of a satellite image.
Now I attempt to create whole new landscape textures. All these textures are based on real satellite images. Don't expect too much variety, because possibilities are very limited. Almost all network landscape is covered by one texture ( except several areas ). Therefore you see repeating textures while flying. Its size is 128x128 pixels and real size on the ground is approximately 5 km ( cca 3 miles ) Resolution is then 40m per pixel. The result is simple: no fine detail is possible. But all the same I hope that my textures will make flying with Hornet more enjoyable ... |
Peruan mountains & deserts with mysterious Nazca plain And now we will fly south again but a few thousands miles further as far as Peru. Here we can fly above mountains and deserts. We can also discover the mysterious plain called "Nazca". We will see darksome lines and figures which are visible from higher altitude only. The figures in this landscape textures are enlarged from it's real size ( 50 - 300 m) in order to be visible in this texture resolution. The lines aren't exactly copies of the original because I haven't a map of the whole plain. My lines are my own creation. However, the figures are based on the real patterns. |

Download desired file and then unzip all *.3df files in the zip archive
to folder ..\F18Korea\Textures\ and overwrite the original files.
If you want to restore the original textures in future, first you must back-up the original files ttex100.3df thru ttex109.3df or you can download Fallon theatre from Network Theatres No.1 Then you can fly! |
