Default FS2000 planes haven't 3D
virtual cockpits like in FS98. But it supports imported planes, which have
it. So there is a little "bug" in the program.
If you are in the 2D cockpit and you switch to
the virtual cockpit for the first time - using key Shift+S
-
your viewpoint is in the center of gravity of the plane and not in your
eyes, like you expected.
But fortunately there is an easy
solution:
It's sufficient to switch back
to the 2D panel view ( using key S ),
look to the right or left ( keys 4,6,... on
numeric keybord ), and then switch to the 3D cockpit again
( Shift+S)
If you have view controls on your joystick, use
it for panning view around.
Default keys mapping for view panning
isn't simple
( SHIFT+Backspace, SHIFT+Enter,CTRL+SHIFT+Backspace,
CTRL+SHIFT+Enter )
So, if you have the joystick , I
recomend you to redefine your of view control to the simple arrow keys
- up, down, right , left. |
